So I freaked out today
I'm taking some PC tech classes at Bellevue College this quarter and never had a problem with any of my classmates until today. It has been a long time coming and today was the straw that broke the camel's back. There is a girl in my class that is just not fit for the lessons that are taught in this class, for one she does nothing but damage to the classroom computers and I can also see the teacher getting a little irritated with this girl's classroom performance.
Anyway, for one she never sits in the same seat in class although not required, I think you should be consistent on where you sit. WHY? Well, maybe everyone else does. This just irritates me to no end. On top of that, she does not grasp the concept of PC technology or even shows any initiative to even learn it. She is constantly text messaging and doing other non-relevant things during the lab sessions and ends up being the one that holds up the class because she is unable to keep up. I can understand if you are totally new to this concept of computer technology but at least have some sort willingness to put effort into it.
We work with partners during lab and my partner is a girl and not all that competent when it comes to doing hands on exercises but at least she shows initiative to try. She does well on her although a little slow but gets it right.
My partner and this girl are of Muslim faith and one wears the appropriate attire while the other doesn't. Can you guess which one doesn't? LOL! They conversate to each other in swahili which is pretty neat but I don't like the fact that they do it during lectures. I'm in class to learn and not listen to them talk over the teacher.
After 9 weeks of putting up with this, I finally freaked out on this girl. We had a test today and she didn't do all that well on the quiz before the test. While taking the test today, I heard her whispering to my partner in Swahili which means to me that she's cheating. After 5 minutes of hearing this, I stood up and told her, "Quit fucking trying to cheat" , "I don't want to hear you talking while I'm trying to take my test", "It's not my fault that you fail at life!". Fortunatly I was finishing up my test at that point and slammed my chair against the desk, grabbed my bag and left. The teacher said nothing but smiled LOL!
I'll probably have to meet with the teacher and the girl next week to try and smooth this over. I know for a fact that this is not going to happen, I won't appologize for pointing out the fact of cheating. We'll see what happens~
